Use Your HSA or FSA and Let Your Health Dollars Work Harder
Your Health Savings Account (HSA) or Flexible Spending Account (FSA) lets you pay for qualified health products with pre-tax dollars — meaning you save anywhere from 20–40% depending on your tax bracket. Clean air isn’t a luxury; it’s a health investment, and the TruFlow air purification system qualifies. That means you can breathe easier knowing you’re getting a premium HEPA filtration system and keeping more money in your pocket.

Still have some questions?
Is the TruFlow air purifier really HSA/FSA eligible?
Yes. TruFlow is a qualified HSA/FSA purchase through our partnership with Truemed. At checkout, you’ll complete a brief eligibility questionnaire that takes about 2 minutes, and once approved, you can pay directly with your HSA or FSA card! There’s no guesswork, no reimbursement headaches.
What’s the difference between an HSA and an FSA?
Both let you set aside pre-tax dollars for qualified health expenses, but they work a little differently. An HSA is tied to a high-deductible health plan and your balance rolls over year after year. An FSA is offered through your employer and typically has a “use it or lose it” deadline of December 31st. Either way, TruFlow qualifies for both.
Do I need a doctor’s note or prescription to use my HSA/FSA funds?
No prescription is required. Truemed’s short eligibility questionnaire handles the qualification process at checkout. It’s a simple, guided experience that allows most customers to complete it in under 2 minutes and go right back to finishing their purchase.
What if my HSA/FSA card doesn’t cover the full amount?
Not a problem. If you’re already at the end of your annual HSA/FSA balance and it won’t cover the full purchase, you can split the payment… just use your health account for what it covers and pay the remainder with any major credit or debit card at checkout.
We're just built different!
Energy Star Certified (Applied for)
We’re not done yet. TrustedAir is actively pursuing additional independent certifications for TruFlow, because we’d rather have the paperwork to prove it than just say it.
ETL Listed
Electrical Testing Laboratories listing confirms TruFlow has been tested to North American safety standards for electrical equipment. Required for compliant sale in the US and Canada.
CARB Compliant
California Air Resources Board compliance confirms the unit produces no harmful ozone as a byproduct. CARB is the strictest state-level air quality standard in the country and is widely used as a national benchmark.
FCC Certified
Federal Communications Commission certification for the TruFlow’s wireless and smart features, confirming they operate within safe radiofrequency emissions limits.
HEPA Filtration
The HEPA designation is a performance standard, not a brand name. HEPA filters must capture 99.97% of particles at 0.3 microns, the most penetrating particle size. TruFlow’s filter meets that standard.
Other Certifications (In Progress)
Certifications aren’t a checklist, they’re a commitment. TrustedAir is continuously pursuing additional third-party testing and verification to back every claim we make about TruFlow’s performance.
